Dual Vocational Training


Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Ltd. together with Samutprakan Technical College seeks to enroll high qualified student both male and female to join a high certificate degree in Electrician/ Auto mechanic (Dual Vocational Training) for Mercedes-Benz cars. The course itself usually takes about two and a half year to complete.

Students will be well trained by specialists from Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) at our brand new facility called “One Roof Center”. Apart from the training, during the summer time, all the theories will be taken care of by professor at the Samutprakan Technical College.

All the students will also be received 200 bath wages per day during the training period. Moreover, talented students will be awarded scholarship from the dealers, along with the extra support budget and accommodation for 3,500 baht per month from the Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers.

After graduated, all the students will be automatically hired to work at the After Service Support at the Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers.

Mercedes-Benz offers special promotion for its 10th Anniversary in Thailand celebration


Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Co., Ltd celebrates its 10th Anniversary with special offers to any customers taking their car for maintenance service at the 35 participating dealers nationwide.

Chatvithai Tantraporn, General Manager for Marketing and Communications, Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Co.,Ltd said “This promotion is not only aimed at celebrating the company’s 10th Anniversay but also at encouraging our customers to prioritise driving safety particularly now that the rainy season is here.

“By using authorised dealers for service and maintenance customers are assured of genuine Mercedes-Benz spare parts and highly experienced technicians.“ To take advantage of these promotional offers , customers need to spend more than 10,000 Baht excluding colour and body correction fees. They then receive a coupon to join the service voucher lucky draw. The prizes are worth 4,500,000 Baht in total and comprise:
- 1st prize – Bht 100,000 worth of Service Voucher for 35 winners
- 2nd prize - Bht 10,000 worth of Service Voucher for 100 winners

MercedesTrophy Junior Golf Championships


Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Limited will be organizing the 6th MercedesTrophy Masters Final at the Rayong Green Valley Golf Course from 4 – 6 June 2008. The tournament is the final round of the MercedesTrophy Junior Golf Championships. A total of 80 Thai golfers who have won through six qualifying rounds will be competing for places in the Teens On The Green World Championship Final in the USA later this year.

They will also be testing their skills against a strong field of 50 young golfers from ten countries including: Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, South Africa, Taiwan and the USA.

The MercedesTrophy Masters Final will be played over 54 holes, and comprises of both boys and girls events divided into 3 age groups, 12 and under, 14 and under and 18 and under. Six winners, one boy and one girl from each age group will be eligible to play in the Teens On The Green World Championship final. The travel expenses for the six golfers will be paid by Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Limited.
Emphasis in the programme is placed not only on golfing skills, but also on educational excellence and the partnership with Teens On The Green actively seeks golf scholarships to colleges in the USA for the young golfers who take part in the MercedesTrophy Junior Golf Championships.

The E-Class Environmental Caravan 2008


Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) invited its customers to join its family rally event as well as participate in environmental conservation through its “Mercedes-Benz E-Class Environmental Caravan” event from May 10-11, 2008.
The “Mercedes-Benz E-Class Environmental Caravan 2008” event was specially held for customers who have chosen Mercedes-Benz’ product as their trusting vehicle. The rally, which focused on families that drive Mercedes-Benz’ E-Class W211 model, overwhelmingly received a warm welcome from customers nationwide with over 50 E-Class cars and over 150 participants joining this competition set on Bangkok-Hua Hin route.

Chatvithai Tantraporn, General Manager, Marketing & Communications of Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) said “To hold activities for our customers has always been the company’s key policy. This is not only to thank them for their trust in Mercedes-Benz but also to create an opportunity for Mercedes-Benz families to exchange their experience and joinly participate in a useful activity.”

Apart from the family rally and the activities held at each station and at night , the main activities of “E-Class Environmental Caravan 2008” event included the reforestation in a bid to support environmental conservation and as part of an effort to help save the world from global warming.. Also, the company has prepared educational equipment, clothes and necessities as a donation to Huay Sai Royal Development Study Center. Last but not least, the competitors had a chance to anticipate the rally results, enjoy a number of rewards and be entertained with a mini-concert from Sumet Ong-art and Prakasit Bosuwan (Sumet & the Pang).
